Ravn

A grieving detective on the edge. A missing woman. And a serial killer hunting in the shadows of Stockholm's cobbled alleys. Criminal investigator Thomas Ravnsholdt – known as Ravn – is adrift after the brutal murder of his wife. But when a friend pleads for help finding a missing young woman, Ravn is pulled back into a grim world he swore he'd abandoned. His search crosses the cold waters between Denmark and Sweden, leading him to the stark and forbidding scrapyards of Stockholm, where victims are preserved like grotesque trophies.

Former investigator, Thomas Ravnsholdt—known as Ravn—drifts like wreckage along Copenhagen's harbour, numbed by cheap liquor and old wounds. But his peace is shattered when a desperate young woman shows up, pleading for help: her brother has vanished after stealing millions. The trail leads Ravn from the windy docks of Copenhagen to Berlin, where ghosts of the Cold War still linger: Stasi files, double agents, and brutality that never truly came to an end. Ravn soon realises that the missing is not merely lost, but ensnared in a deadly web.

Former detective Ravn has turned his back on the police to work as a private investigator. Hired by wealthy businessman Ferdinand Mesmer to find his estranged son, Jacob, Ravn thinks it's a straightforward missing-person case. But Jacob isn't just missing. He's the leader of a secretive community living in isolation on a decaying farm on a remote island. Ravn soon realises that Ferdinand's motives are far from paternal, and that Jacob's dangerous charisma has pushed his followers to the brink.

The killer was supposed to be gone. But the killings are hauntingly familiar. Detective Ravn thought he was done with the worst of homicide. He lives quietly on his houseboat, Bianca, working as a PI on trivial domestic dramas – until a nervous client asks for help finding an old school friend. Seventeen years ago, two boys committed a crime so brutal they vanished into witness protection. New names. New lives. Gone. Now, women are being hunted across Copenhagen. The attacks are vicious, ritualistic and unmistakably familiar. Ravn's client is certain: one of those boys is behind the attacks.

Five years after the brutal murder of his girlfriend Eva, haunted PI Ravn is dragged back into the one case he's never been able to close. New evidence surfaces, igniting a desperate chase for justice that plunges him into a dark web of crooked cops, a dying hitman, and a powerful elite guarding a deadly secret. To get the answers he craves, Ravn must strike a dangerous bargain with ruthless crime boss Kaminsky: recover 71 million in stolen cash, or lose everything. From Copenhagen's gritty underworld to the corridors of corrupt power, Ravn will risk it all to unmask Eva's killer.
