Dead Blood

Dorian awakens and discovers the world turned a little bit more...uncivilized. For a vampire, the old way of things were just that–the old way. And they worked. Hunting for sustenance wasn’t so literal of a term until now.

Bloodthirst doesn’t stop when the dead inhabit the earth. But it does mean adapting how it’s filled. With the dead roaming free and a band of armed humans out to put an end to his eternal life, the vampire Dorian creates a sanctuary far from town. With human captives, fresh blood is always available. But his problems don’t stop there and reconnecting with his brood consumes him. He sets his sights on a neighboring town with the promise of finding answers.

Fending off the dead and living alike just got much more complicated. Dorian is no longer alone in the world of the undead. Now with someone under his protection, hunting for food consumes him. But the constant threat of the Nightwalkers forces Dorian to change his plans…and someone is going to pay. A final showdown challenges everything Dorian believes in. It will end in freedom…or his death. He must make a stand. But more than anything, he must protect what’s his at all costs. A final battle looms and with corpses walking freely, there’s never a safe place.
