If you saw his face, you’d have a death wish, too.
My life sucks. More accurately, I suck- blood.
I woke up on a cold slab in a morgue two weeks ago, with no memories and a new drinking habit that seriously cramps my ability to make friends.
Now, I’m hunting for answers in Sin City about my past and who I was, but someone else is hunting me.
When Death himself comes to collect me, I find myself facing the most magnificent, terrifying being imaginable. Who knew the Grim Reaper wore a tailored suit and ran the most exclusive hotel on the Vegas strip?
He wants to hold me prisoner? Fine, I will rattle the cage and make his life a living hell until I get my freedom.
And I absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, let him know his hand is wrapped around my soul.
Bitten by Death is book one of three in a slow burn, action-packed, steamy romance featuring a cheeky, tough heroine and a dark hero.
Start listening now if you like irreverent, chain-yanking vampires and a hot-as-hell version of Death!

This is the first book of Holly's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the chemistry between Death and Vivian.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Kissed by Death to be released on November 11, 2021 so I can get more of their story.
Logan and Vivienne did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romances or romantic suspense.

Story: I seriously loved this story right from the very beginning. I'm going to be honest, I almost passed on it due to the cover. I didn't think it would be a book I'd enjoy very much. I'm happy to say that I was very wrong. It's a very big lesson in "don't judge a book by its cover. I've learned it well. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series.
Characters: One of our main characters is Vivian. She wakes up in a morgue with no memory of her life or how she died. She only knew that she woke up a vampire. Our other main character is Grimm. He has discovered that there are vampires in the world. Something that hasn't happened in a long time. They cannot exist. He decides to go and destroy the one he knows of. Vivian.
Critiques: I'm not a fan of the cover.
Narration: Great narration. I give it a full 5 stars.
Final Thoughts: I really am glad that I enjoyed this book as much as I did. I really loved both of the characters. I also loved how full of comedy the book had. There were so many quirky passages that I enjoyed very much that make it easy for me to say that I recommend this fully.
