In The Paddock is a Formula 1 podcast for people who actually watch the races. American hosts Greeny and The Cheese break down every F1 Grand Prix of the season, usually within hours of the podium, with the full race recap, the winners and losers, and the arguments that will be going around the paddock all week.

Every episode covers the story of the race and everything around it: the title fight between Kimi Antonelli, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen, George Russell, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri, the strategy calls that decided it, the team politics at Mercedes, McLaren, Red Bull Racing, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Alpine, Williams, Audi, Haas, Racing Bulls and Cadillac, and the FIA rule changes nobody asked for.

You also get the segments listeners come back for. Quizmaster's Cockpit puts F1 history through the grinder with trivia from Monaco, Silverstone, Monza, Spa, Zandvoort, Suzuka, Las Vegas and every circuit on the calendar. Winners and Losers hands out the credit and the blame. The Slap of the Week goes to whoever most deserves a giant foam hand, driver, team principal or rulebook. Theater of the Absurdity covers the genuinely unhinged stories from the weekend. And the Greenybucks Gambling Ledger tracks a season-long betting rivalry between the two hosts that one of them is losing very badly.

It is high octane and it is hilarious. A podcast by fans, for fans, with no media training and no press passes to protect. If you follow Formula 1, F1 news, the driver market, silly season or race strategy, and you want a motorsport podcast that talks about a Grand Prix the way you and your friends talk about it, this is the show.

New episodes every race weekend, plus news specials during the breaks. We are caffeinated. We are medicated. Hit subscribe and tell us who you would have given the Slap of the Week.

  • Champion at 20: Antonelli Breaks Vettel's Record at the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix | Ep 211
    2 Nov 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Kimi Antonelli is the 2026 Formula One World Champion, and at 20 years old he is the youngest in the history of the sport. The record he broke belonged to Sebastian Vettel, who was 23 years and 134 days old in 2010 and had held it for sixteen years. Antonelli needed only a ninth-place finish in Mexico City to clinch it. He finished third, passing Charles Leclerc on the inside at Turn 1 at the restart rather than settling for what he needed. Max Verstappen won the Grand Prix from fifth on the grid, holding off Lewis Hamilton by 0.799 seconds. Hamilton started from pole and lost the lead at Turn 4 to his own Ferrari teammate, then spent seventy laps trying to get it back. The race was red-flagged after Valtteri Bottas crashed heavily at Turn 1 with a suspension failure, and five drivers picked up time penalties. Greeny and Cheese cover the title, the Quizmaster's Cockpit on the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Winners and Losers, a Slap of the Week aimed at the Ferrari pit wall, the Esteban Ocon situation at Haas, and a Greenybucks ledger where both hosts lost money for the second week running. Next up: the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos on Sunday, November 8. In The Paddock is published within hours of almost every Grand Prix podium.

  • Kimi Wins, But Not the Title & The Russell Downfall Continues | Ep 210
    26 Oct 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Kimi Antonelli won the United States Grand Prix from pole, and the championship still has to wait. Hamilton finished fourth and Russell finished eighth, each in the exact spot his title hopes needed. Greeny and Cheese break down Austin, argue about Red Bull’s two-stop gamble, and head to Mexico City with the title in reach.

    The Race
Antonelli took his ninth win of 2026 with a one-stop strategy, finishing 13 seconds clear of Charles Leclerc. Max Verstappen completed the podium, Lewis Hamilton was fourth and Lando Norris fifth. Red Bull’s early second stop looked brave until Verstappen’s car started giving him trouble, and Leclerc came through late on fresh tires. Oliver Bearman, Franco Colapinto and Valtteri Bottas all retired.

    The Title Picture
Antonelli leads Russell by 123 points with 125 left to race. He can clinch in Mexico City next Sunday, and Hamilton and Russell are the only ones still hanging on.

    What’s in the Show

    • The Warm-Up: Why Antonelli’s win didn’t end the title fight, and who is still ahead on the Greenybucks board.
    • The Race Recap: The win, the gamble, Leclerc’s charge and Russell’s rough afternoon.
    • Quizmaster’s Cockpit: Cheese quizzes Greeny on United States Grand Prix history, from Watkins Glen to Austin.
    • Winners and Losers: Who left Texas happy and who didn’t.
    • Slap of the Week: The bumps at the Circuit of the Americas, and the drivers who say their backs are paying for it.
    • Theater of the Absurdity: A 75-foot cowboy hat with a bar inside.
    • The Greenybucks Gambling Ledger: Another week of Greeny’s bad bets.

    Next Up
The Mexico City Grand Prix is Sunday, November 1. It’s a Día de Muertos race, Checo Pérez’s home race for Cadillac, and Antonelli’s best chance to wrap up the title.

  • V8s Return in 2030, F1 Heads to Rwanda, and Haas Picks Camara | Ep 209
    19 Oct 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

No race this week, but plenty of news. Greeny and Cheese cover the FIA’s announcement that V8 engines return to Formula 1 in 2030, and the 10-year deal that brings F1 back to Africa for the first time since 1993, with a new track in Rwanda. They also dig into Haas signing 21-year-old Ferrari Academy driver Rafael Camara for 2027, and why Jack Doohan’s time ran short.

Kimi Antonelli could wrap up the world championship at the U.S. Grand Prix, and Ferrari is bringing an upgrade to Austin (Greeny and Cheese have thoughts).

In Quizmaster’s Cockpit, Cheese gets three questions: his preseason Greenybucks championship picks, the episode that started the Slap Yourself in the Face award, and which four countries have never downloaded the show. Monaco is one of them.

Next week the show returns after the U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, so expect a late one Sunday night.
