About this listen

Oh dearie me, the remote Scottish island of Vik is overrun with treasure hunters, Hollywood has arrived to film the next big blockbuster and Mrs Hubbard has accidentally poisoned Police Scotland. What a stramash!

When Colin the curator is found bludgeoned to death in the museum, it's down to the island weight-loss group, Losers Club, to investigate. Following in the footsteps of Colin, the Losers Club friends find themselves hunting a lost Jacobite treasure and unravelling an international conspiracy. Who are the mysterious secret keepers, who killed Colin and what terrible, terrible thing has Gordon done?

It's clever, funny and well paced. The characters are real and you are made to feel for then - even Sandra Nextdoor. Yvonne Vincent is the only author I would put in the same category as Richard Osman ... and she may even be a bit ahead.

Absolutely amazing!

this is the second book about the losers club members on the remote island of St Vic. The first book did a great job of introducing all the different characters whilst solving a crime, the second book however was a delve into the mind set of each member and their little idiosyncrasies. This book had me laughing out loud and holding my breath. A fantastic romp through land and sea and I can highly recommend this read.

Laughing at the Losers!
