This is a great start for the next generation of mafia leaders. Starting off with Leo and Anna best friends forever away at school and deciding the feelings they have for each other is a lot more than friendship. Bringing in old grudges in Dean the cousin of Leo and the hatred they have for each other. My only question is Dean redeemable from his actions in this book no but time will tell. Love the characters introduced and can’t wait to read their stories. Favorite character is Miles he is the perfect combination of Ada and Callum.

Kingmakers is a school for an elite group of mafia children no matter what area they excel in. Anna is the heir to her mafia family who was being sent to the school and was so happy that Leo, her cousin by love not blood, chose to go with her as well.

Leo and Anna have been best friends since they were children however as they grew older, they both realize their feelings for each other are deeper but both are reluctant to cross that line. Just when it seems like it is finally their time outside intervention by someone determined to keep them apart drives a wedge between them.

It takes a while for Leo and Anna to find their way back to each other, but it is well worth the wait. They prove they are perfect for each other both in love and when it comes to the school as their support is unwavering and it only makes them and their relationship stronger. This story is told from the position of three characters and each narrator brings out the personality of their character perfectly, so you have an understanding of their motivations and emotions. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Leo and Ana have grown up like they were cousins… but they are not blood related. When they go to Kingmakers, they are close…. Circumstances.. mostly manipulated by Dean… separate them for a time. Neither of them are happy without the other.

Can they over all of the things thrown their way? Or does Dean win out in the end? This is very worth the time it takes to listen. Chloe Ryan, Michael Gallagher and Gregory Salinas are excellent at what they do and did an excellent job with this story!

Love love this Author. Never know what too expect and again I wasn’t disappointed.

The narration was great.

Can’t wait for the next book to be released on audio, thank goodness it wasn’t left on a cliffhanger but that epilogue was H O T.

I have previously read this whole series but came back for the audio. Every Kingmakers book was a 5 star read for me and the audible version is even better.

The narrator's bring the characters and the emotions to life. I was sucked straight back into the Kingmakers world and loved every minute.

There's friendship and angst, enemies and danger. I love that the book has 3 narrators it gives you more insight into how everyone is feeling and let's you see things from multiple perspectives.

This one is a little more slow burn than the rest of the series but it still features some very steamy scenes. I will definitely be back to check out the others as they release.
