How do you tame a savage?

Sabrina Gallo is an animal.

From the moment I laid eyes on her, I had to have her.

But Sabrina won’t be taken by anyone. She’s wild and reckless—downright dangerous.

Lucky for me, I’ve always loved a challenge…I want to hunt.

Even if I capture her, caging a tiger doesn’t mean it’s tamed.

The harder she fights, the more ruthless I become.

She needs to learn how savage I can be.

The Lark Notes:

You asked for it, you got it! I've never received more requests for a book. This is for all my rowdy Love Larks, because you deserve it. Sabrina Gallo and Adrik Petrov are fire and fire. Their relationship is an inferno that could burn the world down.

—Sophie

The Savage is a stand-alone story in the Kingmakers universe. It’s a dark mafia romance, lovers to enemies to lovers again. Listener, prepare yourself: The steam is off the charts, including FF and FFM scenes.

This is the fifth book in the Kingmakers series and can be read as a standalone, we get an enemies-to-lovers romance, full of suspense. The characters are amazing, Adrik and Sabrina's story will have you intrigued, I personally loved Sabrina, she is a fantastic heroine, full of confidence. The audiobook is narrated by Jennifer Blom and Bryant Walker, and it was so good, I loved this couple and how they performed the audio, they certainly gave it a boost to the story.

Another Kingmaker’s, heck yeah! Oh I was excited for this one. Yet I was all over the map in my feelings with this one.

Sabrina Gallo is certainly a free spirit and no one will control her not even Adric Petrov but he is just the one to try.

This was the wildest book of this series. At first I loved Sabrina’s attitude and take no flak personality but I cringed with parts of this one. It’s likely more to the truth of what the Bratva would be like for the younger generation but I didn’t care for the focus on drugs. However, it was still a brilliant read and for anyone who likes mafia/Bratva genre books will savour this one!

I did however really enjoy how Sabrina wins over the guys who are under Adric’s influence. There were some real moments between all of them. Eye opening encounters that built trust then it was shattered by Sabrina’s actions. She tries to go it alone and finds maybe she does need the others help. And Adric finds he may not be able to control the Wild Sabrina. These two were born for one another. So steamy and outrageous together.

Jennifer Blom was incredible in voicing all of the characters. I really enjoyed her performance and I think I will need to look for more of her work. Yet Bryant Walker also carried me away and brought me into the story fully. I loved his Russian accent. Both of these actors were amazing in this audiobook. And we got to visit with several families which I loved too!

This storyline really does show what a strong independent young woman really looks like. I loved how this relationship grew. A tough cookie that I’d love to meet.

The Savage by Sophie Lark is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Jennifer Blom and Bryant Walker. This is the fifth book in the Kingmakers series.

I absolutely love Sophie's books! I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship between Sabrina and Adrik. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Jennifer and Bryant did a great job on the narration. They all really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, lovers to enemies to lovers again, or romantic suspense.
