Story fantastic just as I remember from when I was a kid, but the performance on the re-recording just misses something accents feel confused .

Why the hell did this narrator do so many different terrible accents for everyone? Sounds awful and ruins a great story.

Having read the books I thought I’d try audible - love the stories but the reader is terrible! Takes breaths in the wrong place and doesn’t seem to get the tempo right .
I’m dyslexic and I’d read it better !!! Next book I note is a different narrator, hoping he’s better !!
