Summary

It is 1066 and the Saxon leadership lie dead at Senlac Hill. Only Aelfraed and his northern rebels hold out against the Norman war machine. The book was fantastic, with more of the story of Aelfred and his gang of merry men. A little known part of history, and I feel it pays homage to all those brave Englishmen who fought the Normans, long after William had established history rule. And the harrowing of the north, was harrowing to hear
