Hilariously funny!

This collection of short stories from the point of view of an English aristocrat and his man is hilarious. I found myself laughing out loud several times. If you would like to listen to something amusing and light hearted then this is perfect. The narrator does the voices perfectly and adds to the amusement as comedy is all in the delivery. The stories concern a young Englishman getting into scrapes and awkward situations and his man Jeeves having sometimes not so good ideas to help him get out of them. The stories are original and unpredictable with fabulously funny twists! I highly recommend this one! Cheered me up no end!

Disappointing

I saw a volume of Jeeves and Wooster books narrated by Stephen Fry and was tempted to buy it. However, this particular book was not part of that volume so I bought this version as it is the first book in the series.

I was disappointed in both the narrator, it was difficult to distinguish the characters, and the stories, each story was very similar and equally predictable.

AWESOME

I loved this book. The stories are short and entertaining, and the narration makes you feel like you're really being told these stories by the narrator, like you're good friends exchanging stories. I loved it!

Amusing Stories

A nice collection of the antics between Jeeves and Wooster. Enjoyed the narration which added to this amusing collection of stories. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Narrators make all the difference

Love the Jeeves stories, but the narration was a bit overwrought. I would love to listen to Stephen Fry (or Hugh Laurie) narrate the Jeeves stories. Unfortunately, this was NOT Stephen Fry.

Awesome!

I received a free copy of My Man Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse, and narrated by Kevin Theis in exchange for an unbiased review. This review copy Audio Book was provided by the author/narrator/publisher free of charge via Audio Book Boom.

Over the years, I have read Jeeves and enjoyed the stories very much. This is my 2nd time listening to Jeeves on Audible and again was a real treat. Jeeves is a true classic. Kevin Theis brings the story to life making each characters voice unique. Kevin Theis has become my favorite narrator. If you haven't listened to him before I would recommend giving him a try.

Another Classic!!

As a fan of the Jeeves character, I was skeptical that an audio book could surpass the movies or my own imagination... but this narration surely does just that! Excellent way to while away the hours while sipping a hot toddy while in your flannel PJ's.. Bravo, Mr. Theis!

Jeeves! Possibly my favorite literary character.

P.G. Wodehouse was / is a very popular 'humorist.' His stories are just plain fun - great entertainment. The language is completely unique and addicting. I honestly think this narrator, Kevin Theis, was born to give voice to both Bertie and Jeeves. This collection includes a couple of stories that don't include Jeeves but still achieve the usual standard of humor and entertainment. I love everything Wodehouse wrote and wish every single piece of it were read by this narrator.
