overall a good story, but the main characters perversion is a bit offputting. Interested in reading the next book.

mostly good

With already having a great story to work with, the voice of Cliff Kurt brings the characters of Mushoku Tensei to life in spectacular fashion, clear defined character voices for all the main cast and a wonderfully deep narrator voice for internal monologues.

This is a treat to listen to and such a calming one too, this is a definite win and brilliant piece for Seven Seas, I am definitely keeping up with this series as I was already a fan but the wonderful voice makes it a million times better.

Stellar performance oh all levels

Loved the anime now time to check out the novels but for the love of god please fix the naming on the app, 25 something books all named Mushoku Tensei, very aggravating to find the next in line

Fantastic listen

A strong introduction that sets the tone, pace and storytelling style of the entire story. It makes it clear from the get-go that this is not a fast-paced story, and it will happily take its time to world-build and explain things like history and magic, and it will fill you with a sense of wonder every time. Learning in more detail just how traumatic and messed up Rudeus’s past life was, heavy hitting, as was the family confrontation, and to be honest, all of Rudeus’s confrontations with Paul were the highlight of this volume. Whether it be fighting to let Lilia stay, for Sylphie, or their final duel at the end, the father and son's complicated relationship was the highlight of this volume. It was also interesting to see things from both Lilia and Paul’s perspectives, especially how fearful Lilia was of Rudy originally. The final father vs son showdown was a great reward and teaser for the action that could be expected if you continue to read the story.

A strong introduction to an amazing series
