The characters are enthralling I want to know more and more.
The narration is so easy to listen to grabs you into the vampires world and keeps you even after book has ended.
Troy Duran does an amazing job as always. His voice is perfect for the characters as I imagine them.
I don’t want to spoil anything for any listeners but the cliffhanger😳.
Book 3 can not arrive fast enough.
Lose yourself in this book,you won’t regret it.

Guys seriously. What are you doing to us. 😩😩
I should have expected a cliff hanger but that was ridiculous. I haven’t read a book by the sisters I haven’t enjoyed and after a slow start with eternal reign I was a little anxious to see if I would love this. I needn’t have worried. It was brilliant.
I was already pretty invested in Montanas journey but Callie really grew on me through this novel. I particularly enjoyed some of her banter with Magnar - ‘you make more noise with your feet than you do with your mouth, Callie Ford and that is saying a lot’ 😂
We’ve also started to see that promised spice slipping through and if this is just the start of what’s to come I am here for it *fans self*
I can’t wait for the next instalment and I’m annoyed I have to wait as long as I do. Well worth a read ♥️
Narration;
I loved the continuing contrast between the two sisters and our two main men. The audio really does add another dimension to the story and it’s so well done. The tension in high pressure moments really comes through and the spice is done really well (I find sometimes this can be a little awkward).

I love the authors of this series and have read a few of their books and already knew they could work redemption arc magic turning characters you love to hate into ones you just love but really struggled to see how they were ever going to get me rooting for Eric, but they worked their magic and I can already see myself cheering him on. Another thing they are brilliant at is world building and even though they did a brilliant job of that in book one it continues on to this book, bringing comedy, as well as key parts of the story.
If you love romance and vampires this is definitely a serious I'm recommending. I'm already desperate for the next installment. I feel like this take on a vampire story is actually a new one that I've never read before and I'm really enjoying something a bit different to the same old vampire stuff!
The only very slight negative is I struggle to tell the chapters apart if I miss the name at the beginning as they are read exactly the same. The performance is excellent though and this is probably me being a bit too picky!
