Book 6 of 7 — full blurb coming soon ***This is a dark, fantasy romance series by the authors of Zodiac Academy with all the enemies to lovers vibes – don’t go expecting a sweet vampire with sparkling skin and a tendency to watch you sleeping. These vampires are savage and bloodthirsty, and the slayer who hunts them will stab first and ask questions later. This war-torn fantasy world is a brutal bi*ch and only those 18+ have a chance at surviving the darkness lurking in this book. There’s no well-meaning vampires snacking on Bambies instead of babies, and if they get their teeth into you, you’ll be damn lucky to escape with your life and panties intact. So grab hold of your slayer blade (wooden stakes have too many splinters) and get ready to defy the gods, because this is going to be one helluva ride.***©2019 Caroline Peckham, Susanne Valenti (P)2025 Caroline Peckham, Susanne Valenti Fantasy Paranormal Kurgu

Book 6 keeps the story moving, with great action and some lovely moments between the characters. Montana and Erik are my favourite couple, but I also love the banter between Julius and Clarice and I love how much Fabian has grown and developed.
Troy Duran and Bridget Bordeaux do a fantastic job with the narration once again, so easy to listen to and full of emotion.
That ending though - the Sisters have done it again with another gut-wrenching twist! Why do we do it to ourselves?! Nothing to be done but sraight on to the next book!

Once again, emotionally ruined!!

So this has been built up over 6 books and I feel like I know everyone really well! Ready and hoping this is getting to the end. I expected this ending, so not surprised and getting to the point where I really think this could have 3/4 books but anyway.
Narration is great though.

its getting there....

I'm really enjoying this series, but I felt that this book dragged the story out. I did love the character bonding and seeing them have a few moments of fun and relaxation, but I also felt that some of it was unnecessary. The amount of coupling described at the farmhouse was too much in one go and felt repetitive. By that point I just wanted the story to carry on.
The ending nearly tore my heart out and that cliffhanger absolutely had me desperate to read the next book.
The audio is good. I love Troy Duran, but I'm still not a fan of Michelle Sparks' reading style.

Good, but not my favourite in the series.

I love these rewritten books coming to life through narration. Erik and Montana were my OG faves from Susanne and Caroline's writing before I fell for all of their other characters, but the narration team have truly been spectacular on this series and I can't wait to hear the next one too.

Omg what a cliffhanger!!!! I mean, I feel like it could have been worse based on what happened 2 minutes before the end 😂 so I'm happy it's this but still!!! Omg!!!!

This book is packed full of action, amazing plot, amazing 🌶🌶!!! I loved seeing some of the lightheartedness between the characters too!

I absolutely love this series and I'm so excited for the final book!! I can't believe this series is almost over!!

The audio for this one is so good ❤️

I love this series!
