It's 2535. Among those tasked with eliminating any trace of such dangerous information is Navy Lieutenant Jacob Keyes - now saddled with a top-secret mission by the Office of Naval Intelligence...one that will take him to a corner of the galaxy where nothing is as it seems.
Out beyond the Outer Colonies lies the planet Hesiod, a gas giant surrounded by a vast asteroid belt. As the Covenant continues to glass the human-occupied planets near Hesiod, many of the survivors, aided by a stronghold of human insurrectionists, are fleeing to the asteroids for refuge. They have transformed the tumbling satellites into a tenuous yet ingenious settlement known as the Rubble - and have come face-to-face with a Covenant settlement of Kig-Yar...yet somehow survived. Amazing!
It just keeps getting better and better. I dare say this was on par with Halo Contact Harvest. The lore of this universe is just so extensive and intriguing.

Stellar Sci Fi
Arguably one of the best Halo novels out there, yet it is even a great Sci Fi novel outside of the existing IP. it's a must listen, with great characters and noir-lite plot. My only issue is that the climax feels a little rushed to get to the ending. Other than that, it was great.

Great audio book
Great story plenty on action and the performance was pretty good too, felt connected to the characters. Didn’t get 5* as I disliked the music added and the weird background sounds they added.

I didn't like the glitches that skipped a few moments of the book, it only happened twice I think but if not for that it would have been 5 stars all over

Really enjoying the Halo back stories of each of the characters fill out so many interesting facts

a book i very much enjoyed and i adore, tells a tale from the universe of halo which includes some familiar faces, would recommend to any halo fan, and any non halo fan

Audio skips/bugs
The narrator and music are great for this story. The story itself is awesome. I love hearing more of keyes background. Only downside is the several audio skips, which can throw you off but I believe they’re only 10-15 secs long.
