Özet

For Richer, For Poorer is the tenth novel from the million-copy bestselling author Kerry Wilkinson, read aloud by Becky Hindley.

Three houses have been burgled in five weeks. The robbers barge in through the back, disable any way to contact the outside world, and then ransack everything - before distributing the stolen cash to local charities.

It might be robbing from the rich to give to the poor - but Detective Inspector Jessica Daniel is not a happy bunny. The new DCI has a whiteboard with far too many things on the 'unsolved' side and he wants the burglars found. Doesn't he know she has other things to do?

There's a lottery winner who's gone bankrupt, the homeless teenager she's taken in, the botched drugs raid, a trip to London with DC Archie Davey, and a man-mountain Serbian with a missing wife who's been pimping out young women.

All the while, someone's watching from the wings and waiting for Jessica to mess up. Officers are being pensioned off and booted out - with a certain DI Daniel firmly in their sights.

I have listened to all of the Jessica Daniel books & have to say they are at the top of my list of favourite audiobooks. The stories are brilliant with gently weaving story lines & Becky Hindley is absolutely fantastic, the narration brings the books alive. I want to listen, walk the dogs until they can walk no more, invent items to be ironed, but I never want the books to end! Brilliant! Can't wait for the next episode in Jessica's life.

Best audiobooks ever!

Having read the whole series of Jessica Daniel novels by Kerry Wilkinson this one kept me on tenterhooks the whole way through. I have been gripped by Kerry’s work since the freebie I downloaded from kindle all those years ago. Most other crime fiction has fallen by the wayside long ago. Thrilled to have just down loaded the next in the series.

Yet another brilliant realistic masterpiece.

Love these books, I'm well and truly hooked. One small request is that whoever is editing can they please use 'brought' when bringing something and 'bought' having purchased something. This happens when bringing pizza to the flat. 1hr 52 min from the end. Thank you

Great Series
