Sorry, not for me
Peaches and Crime (book 16)
The characters are supposed to be adults but act like teenagers who are overly dramatic and argumentative about everything and nothing. The ending is a rush to tie up all of the loose ends. The 'breakthrough' that solves the crime is something the police would have looked at the day the murder took place.
Queen Tarts and a Christmas Nightmare (book 17)
The characters say one thing and then act or speak in a way that implies the exact opposite. Most of Megan’s family are awful – especially the parents – but I know that some authors write from personal experience so I don’t want to make this harder on the author than necessary.
Rhubarb Pie and Revenge (book 18)
What did I just listen to? With unfounded accusations and friends from hell, this story is all over the place. I really struggled to finish this one.
