She's lost everything. Can one woman bring her home?

Leading fashion magazine editor Victoria Hastings always thought her trusted assistant quit her job and abandoned her in Paris. A year later, she discovers Holly Carter was injured in an accident. Brain trauma led to amnesia, and Holly cannot remember anything about her life.

Guilt causes Victoria to bring Holly home and into her life to aid her in recovery. But when guilt turns into something else, what will she do?

Contains mature themes.

Perhaps that title is a bit unfair. I didn't dislike this audiobook. It was fine, but that's all it was. The story dragged, the lack of character communication became so tedious & quite frankly as a slow burn romance the tension wasn't built on AT ALL! No lingering looks, no touches, nothing like that. Nothing that made me root for them as a couple. I was just really disappointed with the whole story.

I also don't think the narrator helped either. Her accents & character voices were weak. The "voices" weren't overly distinctive enough to clarify who was who at some point.

In short, I was just really disappointed. Had I not listened to this via the "plus catalogue", I would be raging right now.

Let's just say, I'm glad it was free

I wish narrator took a second to learn correct pronunciation of French language especially people in fashion industry.

Good story

A really good 'listen'. The story was clever and there's more to come I guess !
I love lesfic and it's refreshing to get a different take on the genre, albeit only slightly different.
The narrator is good to boot !

Really Good....

If you like DWP fanfiction on ao3, you’ll enjoy this and the sequel. Wish it was longer as 5/6h per book is in my opinion too short.

The author must have taken a long time to look into this subject of amnesia. The subject has been given the respect it deserves.

Holly and Victoria maybe poles apart but the only thing that can bring them together is trust love and a family who truly love both women.

This was well worth the listen and I will be listening to more of AE Radley's books.

An Exceptional Book
