Former personal assistant Holly Carter is settling into her new life as a mother, a journalist, and partner of magazine editor - and former boss - Victoria Hastings. The arrival of an anonymous email threatens to split the happy couple up.

They have to work together, but will they be able to overcome both Holly’s amnesia and Victoria’s reserved demeanor to find the perpetrator?

The second in the series completes the narrative nicely. I liked the main characters and their interactions made for a better all round story ! I did feel that there should of been more sexual intimacy (or better implied sexual intimacy) between Victoria and Holly to make the age gap romance more believable. There was kissing and bedtime snuggling but apart from a brief love scene towards the end of book two that was it ? I wanted a bit more passion between our two heroines !
I will listen to these books again , they are that good. I like the narrator but she does get a bit 'excitable' and needs to remember this.

Although this was a good conclusion to the mini series this book wasn’t as good as the first. It was a little predictable.
