Things are about to get serious for Harry Dresden, Chicago's only professional wizard, in the next entry in the number one New York Times and number one Sunday Times best-selling Dresden Files.

Harry has faced terrible odds before. He has a long history of fighting enemies above his weight class. The Red Court of vampires. The fallen angels of the Order of the Blackened Denarius. The Outsiders.

But this time it's different. A being more powerful and dangerous on an order of magnitude beyond what the world has seen in a millennium is coming. And she's bringing an army. The Last Titan has declared war on the city of Chicago and has come to subjugate humanity, obliterating any who stand in her way.

Harry's mission is simple but impossible: save the city by killing a Titan. And the attempt will change Harry's life, Chicago and the mortal world forever.

I laughed, I cried. Literally. Moments had me bawling my eyes out others had me laughing with excitement. Marsters has built this role and doesn’t disappoint

Just so good

Exciting, heartbreaking, scary, funny, and all in all very emotionally investing story! If Peace Talks were a bit disappointing, BG more than makes it up for it!

What a ride!

Once again jim butcher has brought the world of Chicago, magic, our own professional wizard (he's in the yellow pages look him up) to life.

this book had me gripped at all times, the love the loss, the heartbreak, the battles, the amazing way Harry is still so snarky to things that can slap him around is still amazing, he released this book at the right time its pretty dam amazing and just what we all needed.

the story keeps an amazing pace, the characters vibrant and alive so much so you feel you can walk through Chicago and spot them.

if you are tempted to get it, do it. if you know a fan buy it for them. this is another in his incredible line up that can not be missed

beyond words incredible

It was a bit more of a wait than usual for the last two entries, but they were definitely worth it. James Marsters also once again delivered the novel fabulously, as I have now come to expect.

Another great entry

altough i do not appriciate the milking deviding 1 story into 2 books it was wel delivered and decently written tough it lost the levity in favor of power growth
