Not every danger comes in the form of a mega-threat like a Titan. Some predators are a lot cozier...more personal.

When one such creature threatens an independent tutor, Harry Dresden must shake off the blood and dirt of his most recent battles and rise to the occasion, even when it turns out that the new predator is far more dangerous and connected than first appearances would suggest.

A great story, a good look into Chicago and her recovery post-BG, the performance was great and fun, you could really hear Jim enjoying his characters and honestly it's interesting to hear how he imagines them sounding. Great book!

I only discovered The Dresden Files this year and smashed my way through them all. Was bereft after all that epic storytelling to reach the end of Battle Ground. Just the best series ever and I understand Harry way better now I know that Jim sounds and booms like Optimus Prime. Please release the next books soon. I’d never have coped if I started back in the day. Best binge of my life. James Masters glorious portrayal was missed.

Jim channels Optimus Prime

Was good, enjoyed just how much trouble Harry could get into from what would normally be a very simple case

I was very nervous about Jim doing this… but he did a great job. Is it Marsters?
No.
But he did a great job. And the bloopers at the end made me chuckle.

Short story, but knocks it out the park again. Loved it.

(I still want Marsters back for the full length though!)

Not Marsters… but still good

I wish I could mention some of the highlights, but … spoilers! Suffice to say, we meet some old enemies and some new ones. There is some great humour and startling twists, And, if you’ve not heard Jim performing before, you are in for a treat.

Stay tuned for the outtakes at the end!

Loved it!
