Sheriff Bree Taggert and those she loves become the target of a family’s deadly revenge in a chilling novel of suspense by #1 Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Melinda Leigh.

After Sheriff Bree Taggert’s takedown of cold-blooded murderer Travis Ekin, his family vows revenge. Travis’s mother and brothers are every bit as violent, and Bree is in their crosshairs.

To complicate matters, Bree’s best friend, Dana Romano, walks into her date’s home and finds him shot in the chest. Dana tangles with an unidentified intruder, but he escapes through the back door. The crime scene is in another police department’s jurisdiction, and the lead investigator focuses on Dana as the prime suspect.

While Bree and investigator Matt Flynn work off the books to clear Dana, Bree’s family receives deadly threats. A second dead body and a shocking piece of evidence link the two cases. Bree and Matt must find the killer fast—before either case takes another deadly turn.

“Leigh takes a series of seemingly unconnected events and creates a brilliant mystery with pieces that all fall into place beautifully… Catch Her Death is a great ride.” —Bookreporter

Best one yet with certainly the best twist! I really have enjoyed this book series and eagerly await the next to see where Bree & Matt & the other new blossoming relationships are heading, not to mention the next murder…..

In this novel it’s Bree’s ex partner Dana who is has to prove her innocence. A riveting storyline that keeps you guessing who the baddie is. Another entertaining suspenseful tale by Ms Leigh👏🏽👏🏽

This one was something. It had multiple perspectives and two mysteries happening at the same time. I loved the family dynamic and the romance plots. Absolutely adore all the characters and this series! Awesome narration!

What a volume

Bree and Matt find themselves investigating three very different crimes, but all are linked in the most unique and puzzling way, with Dana injured and then the kids threatened, there is an urgency to solve the crimes and protect everyone.
However, there is also love in the air, surrounded by Matt's family Bree is finally realising that pure love that lasts for decades is a possibility, it's not faked! And Nolan has his eye on a new woman, but will he make his move?
I love all of the core cast in this series, they are full of doubts, faults and quirks, but they are all relatable and human. It was also great to have the crossover with Morgan Dane too, she is awesome, especially when she is doing battle!
A great listen on Audible with Kindle Unlimited.
