Probably one of the best historical romance type books I’ve listened to. I often find the genre a bit dull, but this book had plenty of fun and a building romance.

Absolutely perfect read for me, I loved the characters, the story and the humour. I was totally charmed by the main couple, I loved how you could see the feelings growing between them. I am also a huge fan of books where the main couple have some adventures together while their relationship grows and this book has lots! Definitely recommend especially if you liked The Corinthian by Georgette Heyer or other similar books!
