Star Darlings Series

Sage takes a spectacular journey to Wishworld and discovers how challenging life can be in an unfamiliar place. Then, Libby must help two fighting best friends, but can she stop herself from trying to grant every wish big and small? On Leona's mission, her challenge is to put her own desires aside and truly understand what her Wisher needs! 

Lots of strange things are going on at Starling Academy, and some of the girls are suspicious. As they begin investigating, they wonder if there's any connection between Scarlet getting kicked out of the Star Darlings and Leona's troubled mission. When Vega gets sent to Wishworld, she is determined to solve the puzzle fast, but her Wisher is incredibly secretive. Scarlet watches from the sidelines as Ophelia, who is hopelessly unprepared, is chosen to go on a mission.

Disturbing things continue to happen on Starland everyday, beginning when Piper's Star Kindness day compliment-poems to her friends turn into cruel insults. They begin to suspect that one of their own is behind the trouble and that it might be Lady Stella. Piper enjoys her time on Wishworld working in a diner, but is she being a little too laid-back about her mission? When Astra's time comes, her overconfident nature leads her to incorrect conclusions about her gymnast Wisher's true wish. Tessa's mission brings her to an animal shelter, but when a terrible storm hits, she runs into problems.

Energy levels are dangerously low, and it's affecting day-to-day life on Starland. The Star Darlings have been working furiously to discover who is behind the crisis, but they've made a grave mistake. Can they fix it before their world goes dark? When Adora goes on her Wish Mission, she accidentally reveals her identity to her Wisher! Clover's mission to help a girl with overprotective parents is like no other. 

The Star Darlings take classes where they learn how to grant the wishes made on birthday candles, shooting stars, and dandelions, just to name a few. Their top-secret mission will take them to Wishworld (known in some places as Earth). There, they will have to find the Wisher and figure out how to grant the wish before time runs out and they are stuck on Wishworld forever. Sage is the first Star Darling soaring off to Wishworld. Travel with her as she discovers how challenging life on a new planet can be and learns the importance of friendship, teamwork, and never assuming anything.

Libby finds a flower in the Wish Caves, but her only clue as to whom it belongs is a ballot with two names on it. When Libby goes down to Wishworld, she identifies the wisher and exhausts herself, thinking she has to help grant all the wishes. Libby's friends come down to help her get back on track. 

Leona is very focused on her studies and is especially busy as the lead vocalist in the Star Darlings band. Star-Zaps start buzzing, and the girls know it's probably time for one of them to head to Wishworld. It's Leona's turn, and she's bursting with excitement. She can't wait to get there and become a successful Wish-Granter. But she'll have to challenge herself to put her own desires aside and truly understand what her Wisher needs - before her Countdown Clock runs out of time.

Lady Stella, the headmistress, assures her she's going to do a starmendous job. Cassie is so sensitive and perceptive she'll be a natural! But her mission is even harder than she feared. Everything just seems all wrong. And there's no help in sight. Could Cassie be the first Star Darling who simply can't make her Wisher's wish come true?

As more and more disturbing things happen on Starland, the Star Darlings gather each morning to try to unravel clues to what's wrong. One unimaginable theory is that Lady Stella herself is behind all the trouble. In the meantime, Tessa is selected to travel to Wishworld where she finds herself in a perfect spot for her - an animal shelter. When a terrible storm occurs, Tessa and her Wisher, Lizzie, must work together to take care of the helpless animals in the shelter, all while Tessa tries to discover Lizzie's real wish and help grant it before time runs out.

Adora can be aloof and opinionated and she must learn, through her Wishworld mission, to accept help and ideas from others. On this mission, which was originally set for Cassie, Adora is set to help a super sensitive and shy Wisher who must try to make a new best friend because the one she has had since early childhood has moved away. Adora has to summon her friendliness and tone down her aloof nature in order to make a connection with this Wisher. Then the unthinkable happens: the girl sees Adora's Starling appearance. 

Clover's Wishworld mission involved a girl who is an only child whose parents completely baby her. Clover tries some very subtle, safe maneuvers to prove the girl is ready for some independence but needs to make a bold move to help the girl's parents realize their little girl isn't a toddler anymore.

Gemma leaves for the final mission in the dead of night not realizing her Wisher made a bad wish that, if granted, could tip the balance of power forever. The other Star Darlings realize Gemma is about to grant a bad wish, but without a shooting star in sight, they have no way of getting down to Wishworld. Luckily, a meteor shower begins, which serves to get the others to Wishworld to turn the wish around and collect the positive wish energy.
