Good

I feel I should say I’m a white woman from the UK, as I’ve read the other reviews, and some have said the story was stereotypical. I don’t know what it’s like to live in the USA, or as a black person, so I’m not even commenting on that.
The story took a turn I wasn’t expecting, but like others have said, the end part lets it down, felt rushed, and unsure to whether my take on it, was what the writers intended.
A good listen, and well acted.

Lacks a solid ending

I really enjoyed this podcast/audiobook - the performance was outstanding! The plot was okay, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a supernatural thriller but pleasantly surprised with the storyline. However, the ending did annoy me as it felt unfinished... Unless this was supposed to happen and there will be a part 2? Who knows!

Interesting, if messy.

The story highlights politics and injustice well. I stayed until the end, which means it definitely did something right. Its wrongs, however, are conspicuous. The vocal performances were of a high standard.

Interesting storyline.

it was a captivating story, great actors, but I did feel throughout all the episodes that the writers focused way too much attention on race and stereotypes which for me took away from the story and my enjoyment of it.

Great listen, ending wasn’t clear

I really enjoyed this! Story took a turn I wasn’t expecting and characters were tightly written. I was just a tad disappointed with the ending and had to go back to check I hadn’t missed something (which I hadn’t) so it’s still not really clear to me how it all turned out.
