Summary
Ein eisiger Wind peitscht die dicken Regentropfen über die verlassenen Straßen. Die Straße glänzt feucht und glatt. Das Licht der Laternen spiegelt sich auf dem nassen Asphalt. Nacht und Regen machen die Sicht fast unmöglich. Nervös umklammert Ruth das Lenkrad und starrt angespannt auf die Fahrbahnmarkierung. Auf einmal bemerkt sie zwei gleißend helle Scheinwerfer im Rückspiegel. Der Wagen hinter ihr beschleunigt und fährt immer dichter auf. Sie muss schneller fahren, den Verfolger abschütteln. Auf einmal setzt der Wagen zu einem Überholmanöver an. Ruth schaut entsetzt in den Rückspiegel. Wer hat es nur auf sie abgesehen?
Martin hat einen teuflischen Plan ausgeheckt. Er will seine Frau umbringen, um an das Geld aus der Lebensversicherung zu kommen.
