Summary
When war broke out, 17-year-old Christie could have stayed down on the family farm in Norfolk, where she was wanted and needed. So why had she joined up? War time RAF
A most enjoyable book that was read with feeling. As a military wife for for over 26 yrs it was interesting to hear the types of accommodation that they had to live in. It was extremely running with regards the parrot.

Another great read of love and war. A gutsy book with lots to keep you intrested and the narrator was as always perfect for the book.

Beautiful story.
What a beautiful story. My heart broken at times. I love the pariot, made me laugh
