Summary

Sublime!
The best novel I've read in years! Looking forward to the second novel in this trilogy. Virginie Despentes is one of France's really great authors. The french reader does a fantastic job to.

Boring / gross - total waste of time
It started off well - a perfectly normal poor bloke losing his job and ending up homeless. I was really getting into it when suddenly it just turned into a patchwork of foul-mouthed sexed-up social-network-addicted Paris-city-dwellers lives. BORING! If you like listening to a constant stream of gross language then go for it. I can't understand what all the hype is about with this series. Maybe it's 'modern literature but I want my money back.
