Summary

When Arthur's sword Excalibur is stolen, the Temporal Detective Agency is called in to protect not only Arthur and Merlin, but to stop a very clever and cruel person from destroying Camelot. To make things worse, this time the TDA has no idea who they're fighting.

Marlene's plan takes Tertia and Unita to Rome, Egypt and even to a meeting with Shakespeare, before confronting their enemy in the Coliseum. But first, if the Agency is to succeed, Arthur must die...and Merlin and her King have to agree. If they don't, Camelot will be doomed and History itself could be changed forever. That's the trouble with swords!

Trouble with Swords is #2 in The Temporal Detective Agency series. The Temporal Detective Agency series: Leap of Faith Trouble with Swords.

Fun, lighthearted easy reading

Well, I wasn’t sure what to expect as different to my usual genre, and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book, great storyline, cheeky humour which had me chuckling throughout the book and great use if characters: I’m just about to order the other book in the series.
I highly recommend to anyone who likes books with great storyline with added fun.

Great follow up

this is book 2 of the series and follows on nicely from book 1. if you think you know the man, myth and legend of King Arthur and merlin then think again as Merlin is in fact female and Arthur's love interest. this story follows merlin, tertia and the gang as they find out who has stolen excaliber and involves faking Arthur's death, meeting julius ceaser, cleopatra, Shakespeare, the three witches, the crew of the Mary celeste and numerous other historical people as their journey through time takes some very strange turns.

I really enjoyed listening to this book as the narrator's brilliant. I read the book before and she brought it to life expertly
