Informative and opinionated.
I can't actually think of any reason why I would need to buy something of dubious legality over the dark-web, but it's good to know that after reading this book: I could do if I wanted.
In this book, Henderson brings his distinctive blend of technical expertise, nerdy references and libertarian rants to the subject of TOR and internet anonymity. I certainly learned a great deal, more than I will probably ever need to know about the subject of staying anonymous online, and frankly more than I really understood. It was undeniably fascinating. The author still spends too much time ranting about various authority figures he dislikes, but has managed to reign-in his habit from previous books of adding too many personal anecdotes.
The main message to take away is "You are the weakest link in any security system". A lesson applicable to everyone in a world where cyber security now has to be a major concern of every business, and organization. Even those who have nothing to do with the political dissidents and anonymity nuts Henderson is focused on.

Interesting overview but unprofessional tone
What did you like best about Tor and the Dark Art of Anonymity: How to Be Invisible from NSA Spying? What did you like least?
There is an interesting smattering of information about different apps, services, techniques and theories
Any additional comments?
Some of the technical info was really interesting, and it certainly gave me quick overview of the landscape and some current applications. As with all books, the application names can be quickly out of date but the author does a good job of delving into some of the technical detail.I found the undertone really put me off though - the author cannot help but continually imply that the security agencies are out to put innocent people in jail and he even refers to foreign governments using words like 'cesspools', and at one point goes off on a tangent about being bullied at school and therefore desiring privacy. As an IT professional who is just curious about how these technologies work, I found this quite offputting and it undermined some of the serious aspects of the book.

Very informative
I bought another, more popular book expecting to learn about TOR and hopefully give myself some lessons and education on the subject. However, this isn't what I got.
So I found this book, with some reservations as there wasn't any reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The narration is good, but obviously narration isn't something that takes away from this as it is just an informative book with plenty of 'do's' and 'don'ts'. Exactly what I was looking for.

informative read overall
overall this is not a bad a read and is quite informative across the chapters. it is a little short though and I felt it could have been longer.
however, I would recommend it to anyone interested in Tor, anonymity and privacy online, and think that you'll feel more informed about these topics by the time you reach the end

Useful information
Pretty useful content and tips. It might be a bit extreme for those who just want to know how Tor works and get some basic principles of anonymity. Part of the content felt like it was meant for those doing pretty shady or ilegal stuff. Even though, it is still pretty useful and informative.

I really liked this book. But even although it's well read and good content I would have probably preferred the book and not the Audio book.
