Summary

Duet narration by John Lane and Angelina Rocca.

Faye is the last woman Dion Windsor wants to be near, let alone marry, yet there’s no escaping the alluring pianist he’s been engaged to since they were children.

For years, he made his unwillingness known, but his attempts to keep Faye at a distance fade to dust at the sight of her with another man—mere months before their wedding.

One look at her, and he realizes he’s done running. Time is up, and whether she likes it or not, she’s his.

Or she could be, if the secrets he keeps didn’t hold the power to destroy her.

Publisher's note: Each book in the Windsors series features a different Windsor sibling, and as such, each book can be listened to as a stand-alone. The Unwanted Marriage contains a guaranteed happily ever after and no cheating.

Bit disappointing

I really enjoyed the previous 2 books in this series, but this one fell a bit flat for me. It all felt a bit inauthentic. Maybe because I loved the angst and twists and could feel the passion in the previous books that’s why this one just didn’t quite hit the mark. Still worth a try, and I’m hoping for more from the series.

Good but not my favourite.

Good but not my favourite of the series so far. Overall its an enjoyable read it just didn't grip me the way the previous two have. The narrators did a great job.

Loved the story, really disliked the narrators

I love Cat's books. Read them all, loved them all, like to return to them. What really killed this audiobook for me is the narrating duo. I have listened to many audiobooks and usually if the character is supposed to mumble/softly whisper/whine, the narrator does exactly that. Not the case here. The voice inflictions, the little notes, actually just doing what the books says... not there for me. The woman was not as bad as the man and maybe if they both had a different narrating partner, I would like it better.
Anyway, 3 previous audiobooks in The Windsor series were amazing, loved the voices, loved the stories, 10/10, must have. This one...I suffered through it because I wanted to give it a chance but I will be avoiding these specific narrators in the future.

Not too bad! “I murmur”

But all they did in the book was MURMUR MURMUR MURMUR! It was like you couldn’t describe anyone talk low or soft in any other way than “I murmur” arrrhhhh.
