Narrator Leo Laporte provides a snappy and charming performance of this reworked fairy tale. In the famous original, the naive heroine is tricked by a slick wolf. Author Lang’s altered version is a girl-power testament. And where the original is a potboiler this revision is zippy and action-packed. Laporte’s energetic performance showcases the plentiful, scene-setting details.
