Good story, well read

I completely disagree with the epithet 'unlistenable' used by the previous reviewer. The narration is not only clear, but performed with utmost charm and grace, as if it were Sir Lancelot of the Lake himself reading the story to his grandchildren. The only shortcoming is the sidenotes, which could and, in my opinion, should have been dispensed with, as they remove all suspense from the story and obstruct its flow.

Terrible Narrator

I thoroughly enjoyed the first volume of Howard Pyle’s Arthurian legends, and was eager to get my hands on the others. However, this narrator can’t even pronounce well-known names like “Tintagel” and “Iseult”. It’s frankly unlistenable, which is a terrible shame.
