Summary
Complete six-book collection for one great price
From multiple-time Amazon number one best-selling author of over 40 books, Iain Rob Wright.
It's spreading....
The Scottish Highlands: a sparse, mountainous region some say was carved by the gods themselves. Few places are as untouched as this harsh, prehistoric landscape. It is no place for man. But nestled deep within the wilderness lies a cottage, and behind that cottage is a hill....
When Ryan Cartwright and a group of his closest friends hire a tiny cottage in the windswept Scottish Highlands to celebrate his upcoming wedding, they get more than they bargained for. Along with the deathly chill and the unforgiving landscape, they are about to discover something unimaginably ancient and unbelievably wicked.
With the party heating up, Ryan's childhood friend, "Mad fer it" Sean, fills his body with lager and pills, pushing everybody's patience to their limits, but the real party is yet to begin. You see, something else has gotten inside of Sean's bloodstream, something far more toxic than the booze and drugs. Something that is at first invisible, but slowly begins to grow...and spread...and kill.
If you love claustrophobic horror with an unhealthy dose of body-horror, then The Spread will knock your socks off. Get the complete six-book collection now and enjoy the entire story.

Exciting and emotive from start to finish!
Wow, what a bargain you get here - 6 books for one credit, a brilliant alien invasion apocalypse story with non-stop action and a great narrator. you become quickly invested in the characters, their personalities (which are portrayed excellently by the narrator), their relationships and their stories.
I loved this from start to finish and a shout out that it mentioned my home town of Stoke! I don't come across that very often at all!
it's very rare that I shed a tear at a book but I did have one rolling down my face near the end of book 6.
however there were too many laugh out loud moments to mention too, from start to finish.
I cannot recommend this series highly enough!

A truly British apocalyptic story
I love listening to apocalyptic stories but this is the first really British interpretation of the end of the world. Yes, it is corny, coincidental and comedic in places but the characters wound themselves into my heart and I truly will miss them and their adventures. There was seepage of philosophy, politics and even yoga but all done with heaps of British humour, tolerance and compassion. The start was a bit off- putting, some of the accents stereotypes but a great, great listen.

Awesome
Started off not knowing what to expect. Wether I would like it or not, in the end I loved the story. Wish it had a lot more books in the series.

First ever review to say best spent credit in 3 years!
I loved this and it had me invested from the very beginning. I like a good apocalypse story and this is one of the best. The characters are believable and everyone’s favourite is obvious. The story unfolded without dragging and the ending wasn’t a letdown as so often happens. I’ve read some of IRW’s other books but this story is the one that stands out for me. Aubrey nailed it as always.

A story that grows on you, just like the fungus!
This set of books starts off as a fairly average horror and I wasn’t sure about it. By the end of the second book I was hooked, the characters and story really gains depth and balances action and relationships between characters well. It is a rollercoaster of heartbreaking tragedy, bravery, determination and family. The narrator is brilliant, he gets it just right.
