Summary
Vrishabsen, the king of Shivpur is generous to a fault and his adoring subjects are very happy but Dharam Prakash, his minister does not agree with the King's spending habits. Disappointed at his unsuccessful attempts to change the King's behaviour Dharam Prakash sets out on a pilgrimage. He returns to Shivpur after several months and tells the King about the bewitching damsel who emerges from the sea. The impulsive King sets out in search of the damsel.
