Summary

Lorna's world is small but safe.

She loves her daughter and the two of them are all that matter. But after nearly twenty years, she and Ella are suddenly leaving London for the Isle of Kip, the tiny remote Scottish island where Lorna grew up.

Alice's world is tiny but full.

She loves the community on Kip and how her yoga classes draw women across the tiny island together. Now Lorna's arrival might help their family finally mend itself—even if forgiveness means returning to the past....

And as the two women find friendship, Lorna also starts to find her place in the world.

Can coming home mean starting again?

Nice n easy listen

Enjoyable, albeit a bit simple, predictable and contrived, but an easy listen.
Nice to dream of such an idealistic community Island life, brought back memories of my time living in the Highlands and lovely to hear the west coast accents ❤ made me want to move to this Island!
A bit more depth to the storyline would have gained it a full 5 stars

Libby is great

Deserves more exposure than I think she gets. Great writer, great stories, always enjoy. I thought The Lido might be a one hit but I think Island Hone is actually better 👍😀

Really enjoyed it

I was worried that this was going to be ‘chiclit’ but it just about saved itself! I really enjoyed it, the romance element was a tad cliched and squirmy at times but maybe that’s just me…. I want a sequel, now!!!

I want to move to the island!

Coming home story. Likeable lead characters . I found it a bit drawn out and had to stop my self from fast forwarding - but an easy listen when laid up with flu.
A sequel would be great….

Fantastic narration!

At times I just wanted to take a short cut and find out what happens, but in the end enjoyed the richness of the characters and detail of the plot.
