Summary

In the darkest corner of a Russian antique shop stands an empty mirror frame. For half a century it has made the proprietor feel uneasy: but now he has found a way to send it half way across the world, out of sight and mind. When it reaches its new destination, it sets in motion a deeply unsettling chain of events. A cracking roller-coaster of a ghost story, linking all the flamboyance of 19th century Petersburg with a sleepy English village in the 21st century.
