Inspiring science driven easy to understand hacks

Written very accessibly, loved listening to Jessie, her enthusiasm shines though and her hacks are well researched and well thought through as to how to make them easily workable for listeners in their every day lives! Motivational! A already feeling the difference after a few days!

The best book ever! With author’s lovely narration

Pleasure to listen, motivating and inspiring. Knowledgable. I love the fact that it isn’t aiming at vegetariansyet still the author considers this diet and recipes are marked as suitable for V. I’m very much into ketogenic but not like a maniac, simply starting day with ACV, then veggie starter and proper breakfast with animal fats like butter or frying in tallow, eggs, avocado, bell peppers, sprouts, sourdough rye/seedy bread - and that is all you need to go on for 4h. Just remember about movement within 1,5 h after breakfast, remember about HIIT 10 min or so, and later you can have whatever you enjoy - but still be considerate: low carb, avoiding sugar - and you will be perfectly healthy and slim. :) greetings and sending love to the author and all readers from snowy Poland (Krynica-Zdrój Lesser Poland region near Krakow - hopefully you visit this winter for skiing and lovely local food ;) 😘😘😘😘

Food is not our enemy, the mentioned hacks helped me realise the potential

Before I read the book I was starving myself and eating low carb & low fat foods all the time. But, now that I think of it sweets, chocolates and ice creams was all I craved and once I ate it was a vicious binge & guilt cycle. These magical hacks(still am learning to put them in place perfectly) helped me immensely & my craving are gone!!! For me knowing that I need not avoid sweets completely but instead have a vinegar drink and veggies before enjoying my piece of chocolate is so liberating.

Plus I fill up on veggies which has halved my carb portion already!! I hope this process helps me to lose weight too 😀

I think could listen to Jessie all day!

I enjoyed this, too early to say the hacks are working for me but very do-able. Going to have to read the Glucose Revolution now.

Doable hacks, easy listen.

Jesse makes this audiobook enjoyable to listen to and I hope I am able to continue using the hacks she's suggesting for a healthier life. Great listen.

Literally a life saver (repeat: literally)

This book and the accompanying PDF are clearly and demonstrably a life saver. I reversed my Type 2 Diabetes following this advice. In all honesty I followed the advice BEFORE I bought the audiobook, which is why I bought it. To hear from the author more directly her natural enthusiasm and candour. Inspiring because it really works. It's not a fashion or short lasting fix. It's for life, but it does create differences in a short amount of time. Win win, at least that's her message and I wholeheartedly believe in it (and her message via her written books). Please buy this book as it will in my experience change your life for the better. I didn't write the book and have no affiliation with her or her books other than merely (?) being a regretful consumer of the bad advice received from elsewhere and also the grateful recipient of the advice contained in her book.

Interesting

I like the content of this book and the narration. I had not realised that sugar was so bad for health; the author is not a doctor and so I am not sure about some claims (for instance, the claim that vinegar is good for you) . However, the author is right at least in one respect: as a result of removing sugar from my diet, the cravings for sweet things have almost disappeared!

Practical Advice

This is a very short book. So probably better to pay on special offer than waste a credit. However, there is a very good PDR with it that makes up for the 3 hour content. It has a lot of recipes in it to help with the method. Although there could have been a lot more thought put into vegan meals.

Jessie's previous book was very good. As she said herself, the information was there but she put it into easy reading for people. And she sure did. It was excellent. This book is about how to put it into practice and it's helpful.

I wonder what she will do next.
