Summary
The horde is always hungry...
The zombie apocalypse has begun, and Major Cordell McDaniels is given the most important mission of his career: Lead a Special Forces team into New York City to rescue the one man who can stop the ghastly virus that reanimates the dead.

Ultimately unsatisfying
Far too many technical terms used at the expense of any real character development. It became boring and predictable.

Poor narration but a real good story
Where does The Gathering Dead rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is an action packed story of the zombie genre

Nope, which was a shame as the story is great.

In order to listen to this, I had to reduce the speed of the narration. Jay Snyder would have been a much better choice to narrate this story.
