What a plot twist!

I’m a massive thriller fan and listened and read to many books over this past couple of years. I normally listen to them when I’m baking my cakes as it helps me to concentrate.

This book distracted me so many times when I listened to it I was forgetting what I was supposed to be doing!!

The way the author creates the atmosphere of the clinic and brings the characters to life is incredible. It’s a great suspense book and I couldn’t wait until my next listen.
I loved the plot twist at the end and I normally kind of get what’s going to happen but this one had me dumbfounded.

Definitely put it on your list to listen to, in fact if you have a shiny credit right now download ‘The Clinic’ and get listening. You will not regret it.

Book yourself some time for this great read

The author's ability to create a captivating story with an intriguing plot twist is certainly commendable. Her immersive writing style transports you into the Clinic and allows you to experience the emotions alongside the characters, all adding to the overall appeal of the book. The characters are well-developed and relatable making you invested in their journey. Loved the clever storyline, with its insights into an historic 'asylum' and the complex journey of dieting, kept me eagerly wanting to uncover what happened next. In fact, I found myself looking for any excuse to get in my car to listen to the next chapter :)
Highly recommend this book......and can't wait for Sally-Anne Martyn to write her next one!

narrator was abysmal..plot not much better

I have a fairly small list of narrators to avoid..Hilary Duff...very apt surname.....joins them. From the get go her ridiculous hanging on to each word ending irked me...then we come to her accents for several different characters ...wow and wow..so bad..this made the whole audiobook a chore but I ploughed on hoping to be immersed by the story etc...uh oh...dull...predictable...loooong winded and I fell sleep listening at night and when I saw I'd skipped a chapter or two I didnt re wind ..just felt pleased to be nearer the end!!! Terrible waste of a credit and a few hours...
