Twangy musaz

Great story - one of my favourite John Grisham books. Read well, but why oh why the twangy musaz? Really, really did not enhance the audiobook at all and very irritating. Well chosen music can enhance a story though personally I prefer pure spoken word - but this music choice really spoilt the book for me. A real shame as such a great book by such a great author.

Awful Music

Story was really good and the narration was also good but the music spoilt it!

Terrible narrator

The narrator is reading this book to fast, looks like she never read bedtime stories. Another annoyingly occurrence is the music played at silly intervals. The story itself is not the usual John Grisham gripping story.

Great Story My Favourite J G Book

The narrator speaks a little too quick foe me. So, l slowed the play speed down a bit. A real shame about the poor quality of suspense music. Probably would have been better without any music

Ditch the music!

Good story, but the music made it sound like a cheesy 80s soap opera and took away from it overall.

Who needs sound effects?

Sound effects and music - which didn’t fit my interpretation of the plot, ruined the experience for me. But for the fact it was a John Grisham story, I would have returned the book.

Not fully enjoyed

Good story line. Accent of the reader was not, at times, c!ear. Also, there were no need for background music
