Summary

The Boy in The Wood - A Psychological Thriller

The bond between the brothers is strong. Their mothers love enduring. In one heart pounding fall it’s all gone. The fall from the glass tower shatters her self-image. She is tormented by a dead secret from her childhood. Her sense of own self-preservation possesses her mind. Her husband is lost in his own self-pity.

In a desperate attempt to regain her life she sets into motion an unspeakable series of terrifying events. The deeper into her own mental darkness she delves the greater the cost to those around her. The family makes one final attempt to run from the evil, they move west, away from the city, away from the darkness. But with them the evil comes. A mother's wicked love; a child's innocent need. The Wood is their only hope, the only chance to save…the boy.

The Boy in The Wood draws you into the life of the financial trend-setters in 2007, before the banking system collapsed. After the demise of the housing glass tower the collateral damage was felt across America, damage that included the destruction of families brought on by the evil hidden within them. In her own despair, a loving mother violates the trust her children had placed in her in an attempt to regain her upper crust life.
