Summary
Simone has hunted and slain psychotic vampires for hundreds of years and desperately needs a change. When the leader of the Immortal Guardians offers her an opportunity to guard ten mortal women who are venturing to another planet, she dives right in and finds traveling into space just as exciting as she'd hoped . . . until an enemy attacks. When the prince's ship is destroyed, Janwar joins the Aldebarian Alliance-wide search and rescue mission and soon locates the Gathendien ship that launched the attack. Much to his surprise, someone else has reached the ship first: one of the very Earth women he hoped to rescue.
Fascinatingly fierce, Simone bands together with Janwar and his crew to search for her missing friends. The friendship that grows between Janwar and Simone deepens into love. loved it
another great installment of this series. loved this couple. simone was hilarious. looking forward to more from this series.
Narrator was okay although her accent sometimes slipped when she was narrating simone's part from French to slightly Irish.

laughed so much .. very enjoyable
I loved this one with Simone. She had me in stitches through most of the book.
Wish there was some way to know if / when another book is out in this series because I've honestly loved every book so far.
The narrator was spot on and conveyed the story well. the humour comes across brilliantly.

Fun sci-fi
I’m really enjoying this series. Unlike other alien romance it’s actually got a good storyline, characters and some fun concepts and world building. The romance is nice too but not the only focus of the book.

I don't want this to end! Please please please tell me that we get to know what happened with Rachel and the rest of the Women!
This has been a FANTASTIC series of books, very well written and EXCEPTIONALLY well narrated by Kirsten Potter. Kirsten, you are very talented. Thank you for bringing these books to life not only in my imagination but also to my ears! I will be looking out for other books narrated by you!

Awesome
This series is just amazing. I love the way she develops the guardians. It fits so well with the old tales and embraces the new developments. Well thought out from begging to end. I needs to know what happens to the others and how the alliance with Seth develops.

what the dreck!
So love these series of audio and ebooks. An interesting-and humorous- take on the vampire / alien genre. Can't wait for the next audio!
