Loved it

An easy and very enjoyable read. Finished it quickly because I just had to know all the twists and turns and outcomes.

Toe-curlingly awful

I rarely give up on a book, but I couldn't finish this one. I realised after listening for about an hour that I couldn't care less what happened to either of the characters and I particularly didn't want to find out what was going to happen back on the yacht. My toes were curling in anticipation. Okay, it's only chick lit and I thought I was in the mood for it, but the plot is paper thin, the characters one dimensional, the narrator too earnest and the pace leaden. Complete lack of tension and excitement. Very disappointing.
