Super basic and possibly misleading information

i was hoping to learn something new about sports physiology from this book however this book seems to be really basic in its information and well as giving information that contradicts other sports physiology textbooks and other sports physiologists. maybe the information is useful for someone starting to exercise for the first time but not an athlete or coach.
