"Great collection of weird horror"
I have been tearing through Audible's horror anthologies and this was one of the better ones. Definitely worth the listen.
this collection is my favorite so far! definitely worth it. I want to get all of these!
"good not great."
A lot Lovecraft wannabes but only a few that hit all the right notes it was a good time waster at work though. And while none of these tales will keep me up at night there were a few good chills.
"A mixed bag very well read"
Meh, some pretty good stories, and some not so great. The not as good ones have that tales of the weird flavor. They writhe in their depravity and then die/end, and you walk away thinking, "hmm, well that's over then".
The performance of the narrator is excellent, compelling-- felt the urge to listen to even the bad or boring stories so as not to miss their

A fine collection of stories, dealing with many types of horror from a variety of perspectives. Highly recommended.
"Not really horror for me but..."
...there were some surprisingly decent stories in this volume. The last story was by far my favorite and I wanted it to continue. Not bad, not bad at all.
It's a good collection of short fiction- there's a few interesting ones, but some come off as amateur or I've found in other collections.
I haven't read anything she's compiled before, but I would consider reading another collection.
The male voices are fine, easy to distinguish- but a pet peeve of mine is when all the female voices are high whispers and this narrator does not have a good range for the female voices. They all sound like they're about to giggle and it takes away from some of the stories that are trying to be serious.
A narrator with a better range of female voices would have improved the performance.
Narrator did a great job.
I found most of the stories very boring. However, the authors seem to largely be British and i typically don't enjoy British authors. I much prefer Canadian and American writers.

The imagery is often good, but the language is just off.
