Best book I have listened to.
Superb book. Brilliantly produced. Totally encapsulating on every front. Heartily would recommend this to anyone who wants a really good listening.

Different
I know this is an old classic but it was completely new to me and unlike anything I had read previously. so much of it takes place inside the minds of the characters that large chunks out the book can go by without much practical happening. if this isn't your thing then I could imagine that getting on your nerves but I enjoyed it.
the performance was good. this was the first fiction book I had done as an audio book and I was surprised to learn that there was a cast of several voice actors, and also sound effects, such that it was more like listening to a radio play than I had anticipated but, again, this was a pleasant discovery. maybe all fiction audio books are this way, I don't know yet.

Still my favourite book of all time.
The semi-dramatised delivery is odd. But also kind of neat. Highly recommend this book.

Masterpiece!
I have being a fan of the dune movie since I was very young, loved the whole lore of dune Universe, the book is so much better and writing is so well and years a heading of it time....pure magic!

Incredible
I've often heard reference to this book as the greatest science fiction book ever written but I somehow never got round to reading it and I'm so glad I got to hear it first. Amazingly told with all the voices and otherworldlyness. I loved it!! Spectacular book. Highly recommend.

You can really see how how modern Sci-fi was influenced by dune, from Star Wars to Mass Effect.
