"this audio book is just one of the best!!!!"

Having it narrated by David Tennant was great. He did different voices for each character. And the sound effects were great. I have alway love doctor who the tv show. But listening to an audio book of doctor who was as good as watching it on tv. I listened to most of the story in one listen. I could not turn it off. The writer of this doctor who story did a great job. So i gave this audio book 5 out of 5 and i cant wait till i listen to more doctor who audio books.

"david tennant is an ace narrator"

DT flows from narrating in his native scottish accent to the perfect clipped doctor & even all the additional characters are well done & easily recognisable.
all his doctor who stories are great & i recommend for dr who fans, young listeners (over 8 & with an adult as some are quite scary!) and anyone who likes a good romp. his characterisation of rose & mickey in the earlier stories is delightful.
my only complaint is the slightly OTT sound effects in this story - not necessary & quite scary (yup i'm a scaredy-cat!)

    you'll be missed DT

    "Can't beat Tennant as Who"

I, of course, love David Tennant as Dr. Who; the light spirit with a somber heart. This book is reflective of that, as well as being a pretty darn good mystery. I'm writing this over a year after listening to it and the story still remains fresh in my memory. If you are a David Tennant/Dr. Who fan, I think you will thoroughly enjoy this book.

    "Very engaging listening experience"

I've listened to a few of the Doctor Who audio books and I really enjoyed this one, the extra attention to the sound effects while listening really added some extra depth to the experience. David Tennant does such a great job narrating, looking forward to listening to his others as well as Matt's.

    "Loved It!"

In the fine tradition of juvenile novels written by the likes of Heinlein, it was a fast, entertaining and easy to follow book. David Tennant's reading of it made it all the more believable. From the bits where he is playing the Doctor to the narrations where his regional accent becomes more pronounced he is a skillful orator.

This one had less of the fun doctor but it still had its moments. Was a little predictable but I love everything Dr Who.

    "Great story!"

I think the story definitely portrayed an adventure the 10th Doctor would have had. David Tennant did a great job at narrating. Sometimes his accent did push through into other characters but no complaints here. The sound effects were wonderful and definitely helped the story sound just like an episode.

"David Tennant makes the story come alive!"

overall I think the story was ok. I did like David Tennant's narration of the story as he really brought out the character of the doctor and of course why wouldn't he!
if you like David Tennant as the doctor you won't be disappointed with this story. although the different characterizations mr. tenant dead in the story we're okay it didn't really detract from the performance at all.

    "Good but abrupt ending"

Fun story but the ending felt a bit abrupt after a nice long windup. Still recommend it!
