The plot was good and often unexpected. Unfortunately, I failed to connect with the main character despite initially feeling sorry for Serenity and her plight. A great shame, really.
I would recommend this to serious fans of paranormal romance (not the Twilight-light types).
Julia Farmer did a great job of acting out Serenity's parts. Unfortunately, I felt the narration was a little over-acted and Sebastian's parts were varied in tone and accent, which I found confusing.
Yes, on balance.
I received a free copy of the audiobook from the author in exchange for my honest review.
Julia Farmer narrated this so beautifully. I loved that she captured each person with such ease. the story Alone is a great read😐 and recommend everyone listen to it even if you have already read the story!
"Good read. Makes you want to read the entire serie"
Yes. The story was compelling.
When Serenity decides to no longer be a victim.
I thought the narrator could have been more emphatic during the exciting scenes. I felt her voice was too monotonous for the parts she was reading.
No. Again, I felt the narrator did not completely capture the life of the story.
I really enjoyed the story itself, but would have preferred a different narrator.
"What a fantastic story"
The narrator was very easy to follow along with. She made it so real. Each character came to life.
When Serenity finds out what Sebastian really is.
She performed them all so good but I loved her as Sebastian.
Yes I enjoyed it very much
Would highly recommend this story !
