Summary
A Gotrek & Felix Audiobook
When Gotrek and Felix race to the aid of the besieged dwarf city of Karak Kadrin, they are drawn into a war that threatens the entire Old World, and pitted against a foe who could be the one to fulfil an ancient prophecy.
LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE
It's a timeless tale from the Gotrek and Felix archives that sees the intrepid adventurers battle against a warhost of Chaos that seeks nothing less than opening a rift into the heart of Chaos itself.
THE STORY
Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between, and depends entirely upon whom you ask.
Gotrek and Felix race to the dwarf hold at Karak Kadrin, finding it besieged by one of the grand armies of Chaos under the command of Warlord Garmr. When King Ungrim Ironfist speaks of the legendary 'Road of Skulls' and of the hated foe's attempts to open a portal into the Realm of Chaos, Gotrek senses that a great doom awaits him – though it may not be the one he would choose for himself. As the king's own son leads his army of Slayers to fulfil an ancient prophecy, it seems that Garmr's hour of victory may be at hand.

Where is Snorre?
it's a good book, but end of last one they were bringing Snorre to Karak Kadrin, together with Felix new girlfriend but at start of this book it's only Gotrek and Felix and no explanation why or where the other two are.. kinda strange...

Good if you take it as a stand alone story.
I liked the story but it’s like Josh didn’t read any of the books before it, he constantly says stuff that goes against the previous books and it references stuff that’s not happened in any of the books I’ve read previously like a fight with Manfred von Carsten! When did that happen ?
Johnathon Keeble knocks the narrating out of the park as usual.

Slightly disappointing but still a good read.
Characters (from last book)ignored and that's not good for the story .... and, if I'm not wrong, actual wrong Characters referred to, that Gotrek and Felix never meet. That's not good writing.

Enjoyable
Enjoyable, however could be a bit confusing for people as if dose not follow on from the last book but jumps backwards to just after Vampireslayer.

It was good, but.....
It was good, but I'm having difficulties to pinpoint the timeline of these events, like I feel it should be before Daemonslayer otherwise it doesn't make any sence.

Surprisingly good!
I was pleasantly surprised, this was thiroughly enjoyable despite another change of author. Of course not at the same level as William King's originals, but still good. The only issue is the sudden change of time with this happening prior to the other books, but it doesn't really matter for the book itself.
