Summary
You're having a baby! Or at least your partner is which means you are too. Not literally of course, but you’ll be in the middle of nine months of flying hormones, back rubs, and excitement, anticipation and nervousness the like of which you’ve never experienced before.
You’re in for the ride of your life. And you're going to be a dad. Fatherhood is just around the corner and it’s ace – but are you ready? Most pregnancy books are for the mother but this one is just for you, the new father. We guide you through nine months of joy, excitement, fear, lots of big words, and an expanding so that you emerge from this emotional rollercoaster ready for anything your newborn baby will throw at you (which will either be sick, or regurgitated milk). From how your baby grows month by month to how to support your partner (it’s the little things that count, we tell ourselves), international bestseller Pregnancy for Men is your survival guide to the whole nine months.
And when the newborn arrives (and you can't put the car seat in) Mark's on hand with the next instalment, Babies and Toddlers for Men, packed with funny anecdotes and advice from an array of new dads. Or if you're short on time - Pregnancy for Men 101 Tips and Babies and Toddlers for Men 101 Tips.

A great start for men in a females world.
Simple, to the point and in depth. All you could want so you can say "I know this and that about this and that." and be a little more prepared for things to come. Still occasionally falls victim to the very same problems it tries to rectify however in that it seeks to remove the stereotype of the Homer Simpson male with pregnancy yet makes silly story references and a few boring quips over generic male behaviour. The stories in particular I found pretty dismal, think GCSE French textbook level of awkward. Would be nice to have a more serious tone for some of us in situations where we may be genuinely bricking it and looking for help in all the places we can. Overall though, an invaluable guide despite this.

Really good
I found this to be really insightful. I had it purchased for me by a friend when my partner and I found out we were expecting, but wanted to listen to it via audiobook. I wasn't disappointed. Some of it is common sense, but it's also nice to sit with a notepad and pen when listening to jot down various things that might not have been thought of. I would recommend it to (from my point of view) soon-to-be-dads and upon completion soon-to-be-mums as well. It's fantastically balanced and takes nothing away from either party when delivering the information.

Overall very good but some outdated info
This book is a great insight into becoming a dad with some really valuable tidbits that many may not know, even if they’ve already had children.
Some of the info and opinions on antenatal classes and birth options though are in my opinion unfortunately quite biased, misleading and incorrect. Maybe just a little outdated.

Not bad
A fairly obvious and limited account of pregnancy. The story was far better read in a voice your imagination makes up rather than the chosen narrator who is obviously too old to be saying some of the terminology or catch phrases. He’s like listening to a cross between postman pat & a bbc news reader.

Pregnancy in a Nutshell, and brilliantly funny.
I've read/listened to a few pregnancy books, and this is so far the best. It tells you everything *I think* you need to know, and does so very humorously without getting into needless details many other books go into. Thoroughly recommend for any expecting parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle or whomever might be involved in the process of raising a child.

Great advice, maybe best in physical form
As a new father-to-be, this book was insightful and had great advice, however driving in the car means that it is almost completely forgotten about when it actually matters. Also, the jokes don't quite land as I imagine they might on paper.
Overall, a good book but my advice would be to buy the physical copy.

Listen to this before trying to concieve.
Like me you are probably listening to this during your partners first trimester (at her request) and wishing you had listened to it before your partner got pregnant. It seems here in the UK everyone you talk to gives you encouragement to have your own and saying it is the best decision they ever made. However, no one seems to talk about the detail of what you and your partner will experience during this stage and what to expect after. Truly enlightening.

useful & amusing for 1st time Dads
Would recommend as a book that has useful information for assisting with the wholly life changing process that 1st time pregnancy brings for a couple from a Dad's perspective. With helpful advice, and a good helping of humour to smooth the process.
